Crystal - Veterinary Practice ManagerCrystal has always been fascinated with animals since she was a child. She began her career at a very young age raising kittens, puppies, and even farm animals at home. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1997 in a variety of settings; technician in the intensive care unit, critical/emergency care, neonatal, and extensive dental training. Crystal joined Star Meadow in 2008 where her compassion and experience have elevated her to the position of practice manager. She is a proud wife and mother of three great children and shares her life with four dogs, three cats, and one horse.


Kyle - Veterinary TechnicianWe welcomed Kyle to the Star Meadow team in summer 2012. She became a certified veterinary technician in 2006, yet her love for the veterinary field started very early when she began volunteering at a Wildlife/Nature Center. She graduated from Mount Ida College with a B.S. from the veterinary technician program. Her interests include dentistry, feline behavior, and pediatric care. She has owned quite an array of animals including: dogs, cats, hedgehog, flying squirrel, fish, and hermit crabs. She lives in West Hartford with her husband Mic, her daughter, Georgia, her cat, Alex, and a rescued miniature schnauzer, Buffy. When not at work she enjoys hiking, yoga, reading, and baking.

Christi - Head ReceptionistChristi has been passionate about animals ever since she was a child. She has worked in the veterinary field for over twenty-three years in all aspects of the veterinary hospital, ranging from technician to receptionist. She joined the Star Meadow team in 2004. Christi currently lives at home with her beautiful daughter, her dog Andie, and her three cats – Ollie, Dilly, and Thomas.


Jamie - ReceptionistJamie has been in the veterinary field since 2004, and joined the Star Meadow team in 2011. She was previously in the finance and lending fields but left after following her childhood dream of being in the veterinary world. She has an amazing daughter who is the joy of her life and also wants to be in the veterinary field when she grows up. Jamie has two rescues - a spirited feline named Luke and her four-legged best friend, German Shepherd mix named Bo.


Meg-technicianMeg joined the Star Meadow Animal Clinic team in mid 2013 as a veterinary technician. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Animal Science in 2008 and has worked as a technician since. She grew up in Pennsylvania with a menagerie of family pets including horses, dogs, cats and hamsters. She currently lives with her husband, Casey, and hopes that together they may soon have some four-legged children of their own.


KelseyKelsey joined the Star Meadow Animal Clinic team in the summer of 2014 as a veterinary technician. She graduated from Northwestern Connecticut Community College with a Veterinary Technology degree. She volunteered at the Simon Foundation for two years followed by employment for five years. She currently lives with her husband, Austin, her rescue dogs Sarge and Lolli, and her 10 chickens.


Pat - Kennel ManagerPat has worked at Star Meadow Animal Clinic since 2005. She has worked in many aspects of the hospital from reception to veterinary assistant to boarding. She shares her home with her German Shepherd Mia, and her three cats, Mariah, Miiko, and Mote.




Danielle with dogDanielle has always wanted to work with animals. She has volunteered at multiple horse farms where her mother was the riding instructor. She has owned all kinds of animals from hamsters to horses. Currently, her and her boyfriend Mike’s family includes two very affectionate guinea pigs named Yoshi and Onyx. Over the past few years it has been her goal to acquire the necessary skills and experience to pursue a career in animal care. The focus of her studies has been in the field of Veterinary Assistance. In the winter of December 2013, Danielle completed a veterinary assisting course at Tunxis Community college. After completing the course she worked as a dog bather and grooming assistant, as well as a dog daycare attendant. She is very happy to be a part of our veterinary team!
